What’s Up, Beyonce?

Whoa, what a Superbowl!

I did not have a strong connection to either team, so I really didn’t pay too much attention to the actual game! I actually asked Aaron who was even playing in the Superbowl! I am a big Steeler fan, so I don’t really follow any other teams! However, let’s not talk about those Steelers right now…

Knowing that there was going to be a Superbowl party, I set out to find a new dip to take earlier in the week (on Pinterest of course!) I really enjoy taking food to gatherings, and I know my friends enjoy it too! Like I mentioned yesterday, I took Louisiana Hot Crab Dip. I was a little hesitant knowing that I never made it before, and when I tried it, I wasn’t such a fan. Lucky for me, it was a huge hit! Everyone thoroughly enjoyed it!

I’ll add this one to my recipe collection!

I also enjoyed some pretzels during the game!

Rold Gold pretzels are my absolute favorite. I prefer the tiny twists, but these were also very good.

Back to the actual game-

Did you see the player that shoved the ref? And didn’t get kicked out? What was that about?

How about the power outage? How crazy was that! I actually drove home after half time, and made it home waayyyy before the game started again! Unfortunately, that meant it also went on too long and I went to bed before it was even over…

NOW! I thought the real star of the game was Beyonce! I absolutely loved her performance and thought she did a great job. Maybe I am the only one, but I really don’t think she did any lip syncing during it! My friends thought I was wrong, though. Her outfit was a tad bit revealing, but nonetheless, it was an excellent halftime show! I enjoyed it much more than previous years!

Have an awesome night! I’m off to go look at a potential house for Aaron and I! The house process has begun!

Question for the day:

  • Did you enjoy last night’s halftime show more than previous years?
  • Did you have any new dips at any parties? If so, please share! I’m always looking for new ones!
