Trainer Tuesday 3!

Woot Woot! Another week, another Trainer Tuesday!! I absolutely love sharing my workouts with you, so please let me know what you think of them Smile

Tuesday trainer

Today’s workout focuses on supersets. These work two opposing muscle groups back to back. You should perform both moves with very little rest in between. Then, take a 30-45 second rest before repeating the set 1-2 more times. Take a 1-2 minute break before moving on to the next set Open-mouthed smile This is one of my favorite workouts! My arms are burning by the end, and I am quite sweaty!

**Always remember to check with a doctor before starting a new exercise program!

Trainer Tuesday #2!

Are you ready for this one? Do you want a workout to rock your socks? This is it.  It has become one of my favorites, super fast. On Saturday, I couldn’t seem to pull myself out of my cozy bed, but I wanted to workout. I was craving a workout that focused on cardio, but couldn’t come up with one that I was excited about.

I pulled together different exercises that I knew would keep my heart rate up, as well as using a cardio machine. This. was. perfect. The time flew by, and before I knew it, I was finished and sweating a lot! In my book, that means it was a tough workout!

And with these stats? Can’t beat it!

In case you’re curious, I use a heart rate monitor that connects to my iPad or iPhone! I love it! No wire required!

Make sure you push yourself on a machine for those 5 minutes! It is not a time to relax and let your heart rate drop!

Question:

  • Do you prefer cardio machines, of getting cardio in with other exercises, such as plyometric exercises, jump squats, mountain climbers, etc? I really like this workout because it combined both. Sometimes time doesn’t seem to move when on a machine, but throwing in exercises breaks it up and makes it fly by!
